Karen's Space

She's finally here! Ella Brooke was born Saturday, October 7th at 4:58 p.m. and weighing 6 lbs 15 oz. So expect lots of pictures!  We couldn't be happier.

It started out that we were just going to go to Vancouver and Seattle, but when we started out in Seattle it was so cold and rainy there that we decided to head south.  San Francisco is only 12 hours away after all and we loved it there when we went last time.  After a few days in San Francisco we figured we're so close to LA (6 hours) we might as well go there too!  Only spent one night there, pretty much getting frusterated that the stupid city is so damn big and it takes you 2 hours to get anywhere we just went to Malibu and Santa Monica and then moved on to San Diego, Sea World!  Got to feed the dolphins which was awesome.  So from there the fastest route home was through Las Vegas of course (so really we had to go there).  Our room at the Aladdin got upgrated by chance and was a nice suite on the top floor so we decided to stay an extra few days there.  I just missed drinking the daiquiris (virgin daiquiris just aren't the same).  Then we made our way home through Utah and stopped at the Bryce Canyon which was pretty amazing.  It was a great trip, can't wait for the next one, might be awhile though...

Here is our first ultrasound on October 24th at 12 weeks.  It's actual size is 5.2 inches.  It already has little arms and legs.  Yay, it's so exciting!
